I am Halil Berkay Sahin, the founder and lead engineer of TheCodeVolt. I started TheCodeVolt because the traditional agency model is broken: clients pay for account managers, project coordinators, and layers of overhead before a single line of code gets written. I do the opposite — I work directly with clients as a senior engineer, owning the architecture, writing the code, and joining every call.
I build production-grade web platforms, mobile apps, and AI integrations for businesses that need real software, not slideware. My focus is on the full stack — from system architecture and database design to frontend interaction and deployment infrastructure. Every project I take on, I personally own from kickoff to launch.
I specialize in Next.js, React, TypeScript, React Native, Flutter, and AI integrations using Vercel AI SDK, Anthropic Claude, and OpenAI. My shipped work includes Briefance (AI brief SaaS), HiCaptains (yacht charter marketplace), Geotoblog (AI search visibility SaaS), Make Them Look (creative agency site), and HOVERLAB (corporate site). Full portfolio at thecodevolt.com/projects, with behind-the-scenes decisions on the engineering blog.
What I am not: a generalist who outsources everything, a sales-first agency, or someone who promises everything to win a deal. I tell clients honestly when their idea needs revision, when the scope is wrong, or when a simpler tool would serve them better. Long-term trust beats short-term billing.
No account managers between you and the engineer. You talk to the person writing the code.
Every Friday you get a working build to test. No black boxes, no months of 'almost done'.
Detailed proposal before we start. Milestone-based payments tied to deliverables. No hourly surprises.
If your idea needs to change, I tell you. If a simpler tool serves you better, I recommend it. Long-term trust over short-term billing.
